Creating a Blog

The Blog tool lets you publish articles on your ResQEngage site — useful for SEO and for sharing CPR safety tips, class news, and FAQs. Build this section out only if you plan to use ResQEngage for blogging.

Create a blog

1. Go to Sites → Blogs.
2. Create a new blog and set its name, URL path, and the domain it lives on.
3. Configure the blog's design/layout to match your site.

Write a post

1. Add a new post and enter the title and body using the editor.
2. Add a featured image, author, categories, and tags.
3. Set the SEO title, meta description, and URL slug.
4. Save as draft, schedule, or publish.

SEO basics

• Use a clear, keyword-relevant title and meta description.
• Use headings to structure the post.
• Add descriptive alt text to images.
• Keep URLs short and readable.
