Getting Started: Add the Live Chat Widget to Your Site

The chat widget lets visitors message you from your website; conversations land in your Conversations inbox.

  1. Go to Sites → Chat Widget (or the Chat Widget area).
  2. Create a widget and customize its appearance, greeting, and business hours.
  3. Choose how leads are captured (name, email, phone) before the chat starts.
  4. Copy the widget's install code.
  5. Paste the code into your website's header, or add it through your site builder's custom-code area. On the ResQEngage site builder you can enable it without manual code.
  6. Publish your site and send a test message to confirm it arrives in Conversations.
