Text-To-Pay: Request Payment by SMS

Text-To-Pay lets you request and collect a payment instantly by SMS from inside a conversation — no website needed. It generates a secure checkout link the customer can pay in a few taps, and keeps the payment tied to the contact thread for easy follow-up.

Prerequisites

• An active payment (card) connection in the account.
• An active LeadConnector phone number in the account.
• At least one active product.

Send a Text-To-Pay link from Conversations

1. Go to Conversations and open the thread with the contact.
2. In the channel picker at the message box, choose SMS.
3. Click Request Payment (the $ icon) below the text editor.
4. In the Request payment window: select the product (or item) and confirm the price, add a discount and/or tax, set a due date, and choose Test or Live mode.
5. Click Preview to review the checkout, or Copy link & Mark as sent.
6. Click Send. The customer taps the link to pay.
