Documents & Contracts is a built-in ResQEngage tool, found under Payments, for creating, sending, and tracking professional agreements, proposals, and estimates directly inside your CRM. You can start from a blank document, upload an existing PDF, or use a saved template, and collect legally binding e-signatures, payments, and signer information — all without leaving ResQEngage.
For a CPR-training business this is ideal for liability waivers, class enrollment agreements, corporate training contracts, and instructor service agreements.
Key benefits
- Centralized dashboard: manage every contract, proposal, and estimate in one place under Payments, so your team always knows the status of each document.
- Reusable templates: save recurring agreements (for example a standard class waiver) as templates for fast, consistent creation.
- E-signatures with an audit trail: collect online signatures with a certificate that records the signer's details, IP address, and timestamp.
- Integrated payments: add one-time or recurring payments inside the document to close and collect in a single step.
- Workflow automation: trigger automated actions when a document is created, sent, viewed, or signed.
Opening the dashboard
Go to Payments → Documents & Contracts from the left menu, then choose All Documents & Contracts to view every draft, sent, completed, and archived document. You can narrow the list by selecting a start and end date.
Documents are organized into tabs: Draft, Waiting for others, Completed, Payments, and Archived. Each row shows the Title, Status, Customer, Date Modified, and Value. A three-dot menu on each row provides quick actions: View, Clone, Mark as Completed, Download PDF, Convert to Template, Share via Link, Move to Draft, or Mark as Declined.
Creating a new document
Click + New at the top right of the dashboard and choose one of three options:
- New Document — build from scratch in the editor (for example, a fresh proposal with text, pricing tables, and embedded video).
- Upload Existing PDF — import a PDF and overlay signature or text fields (for example, your existing liability waiver, uploaded for e-signature).
- Import from Template Library — reuse a saved template (for example, your standard class service agreement).
