Tags
Tags are labels you attach to contacts to segment them (for example, "CPR-Adult," "corporate," "renewal-due"). Add a tag manually on a contact, automatically via a workflow, or in bulk.
Custom fields
Custom fields store data specific to your business (for example, Certification Type, Certification Date, Employer). Create them in Settings → Custom Fields, then they appear on the contact record and can be used in filters, forms, and merge fields.
Bulk actions
Select multiple contacts (or filter to a Smart List and select all) to act on them at once:
- Add/Remove tags in bulk.
- Add to a workflow or campaign in bulk.
- Send a bulk email or SMS (observe consent/compliance).
- Export the selected contacts to CSV.
- Delete in bulk (use carefully — deletion is permanent).
Importing contacts
Import a CSV from Contacts → Import; map columns to fields and optionally tag the whole import so you can find or action the group afterward. (See the Getting Started import walkthrough for step-by-step detail.)
