The editor is a drag-and-drop environment for designing and finalizing a document. The main tools are grouped as follows.
Add elements
- Add text, images, videos, tables, product lists, and page breaks.
- Insert fillable fields: Signature, Text Field, Date, Initials, and Checkbox.
- After adding a fillable field, select it and use the right-side Properties panel. Use To be signed by to assign the field to the correct signer, including a specific staff member in your account.
Page management
Add, duplicate, or remove pages to manage multi-page documents.
Document variables
Insert dynamic placeholders such as Created Date, Reference Number, Account Name, and custom fields. Variables populate automatically with the correct data when the document is sent.
Content Library
The Content Library stores reusable blocks and full pages. Save a section you will reuse with Add to Content Library and give it a name; insert saved items into any document or template from Content Library → Custom using drag & drop, then customize after inserting.
Recipients
- Define who needs to sign or receive the document.
- Add multiple recipients and set a signing order (sequential or simultaneous).
- Assign specific fields (signature, initials, etc.) to each recipient.
Payment settings
- Add payment options directly inside the contract.
- Choose One-Time or Recurring billing.
- Enable direct payment on signing, or send invoices automatically. Live payment mode and autopay are supported.
Edit email & choose template
- Click Send on the document to open the send window.
- Select the Email Template you want to use.
- Click Edit to adjust the subject or body if needed.
- Confirm the preview and send.
Document settings
Control delivery: override the default email configuration (From Name, From Email, Subject, Template), redirect clients to a custom URL after signing, and attach files to the document email.
Action menu and send options
The three-dot menu inside the editor offers Mark as Completed, Download PDF, Convert to Template, Add Expiry, and Delete. When the document is ready, click Send and choose Send via Email or Share via Link.
